The new building is a five storeyed one. It is mostly supported by Christoffel – Blinden mission from Germany, parents, friend and other donors. It includes offices, hall, class rooms, and residence for pupils and staff. It was helped built by Ministry of Industry I Maintenance and Construction Department. It was handed over to the school on 30.3.2002 and is being fully utilized.

The 1924 Building in the north east roofing and domestic quarters roofing was renewed at the cost ks 65 Lakhs. Funds are very much needed. More Sign Language books are being brought out after more research. Teachers training given as the need arises if finances are sufficient. Mostly supported by C.B.M.
Every year since 1995 the Armed Forces has yearly visited the school sponsoring for many donors for an Endowment Fund. The school welcomes the much needed encouragement and funds in money and kind and their sponsorship for the country wide publicity to reach and encourage grateful thanks to the late Secretary (2) Lt-General Tin Oo who helped sponsor the Endowment Fund for the school. The Social Welfare Department for the yearly donation of rice bags, supplement for children's food and clothing. Donations can be made towards.

UN Disabled Person's Day. December 3

Yearly this day is celebrated by participants from the Government School for the Blind, physically and mentally disabled, School for the Deaf, Mandalay. NGO's participation by the school and associations of the above categories. The celebration in art, handcrafts, sports, sewing and dances. Prizes are given for academic and other achievements also.
Thank you for your interest and help in many ways for the development of the deaf children who are being trained to become good and useful citizens.
The mainstream of the children after the 6th standard that their children after primary level are able to understand and follow lessons in ordinary Middle and High School. As for inclusive Education, very much thankful to Education Department for Disabled Centre.
